Nationals 2024

 Thank you for your entries in the 2024 Nationals. We have competitors from Queensland, NSW and Victoria. We also welcome Cindy Mc Intyre from Darwin who is a Level One Judge from Darwin who is coming along to volunteer her services wherever needed. 

Entries are closed and no entries will be taken at the weekend. 

Just a few things you need to know with regards to the weekend.

Directions

If coming from Ballarat, take Millers Road which is the second right hand turn off the Freeway off ramp heading towards Rosehill Road/ Creswick. Follow this all the way down to the end and turn left into Slatey Creek Road, then take the next left into Rosehill Road. Access through gate 2 this is because the top end of Rosehill Road is closed. 

MOST IMPORTANTLY GATES WILL NOT OPEN FOR COMPETITORS UNTIL 1.30PM. Mt Rowan is under construction at the present time so is classed as a work site therefore no one other than DEC committee members are allowed on site before 1.30pm. We ask for your cooperation with regards to this matter. Also please note NO DOGS are allowed at Mt Rowan.

THERE WILL BE EXTRA SHOWERS AND TOILETS IN THE EDUCATION CENTRE ADJACENT TO THE ARENA FOR USE OF OVER THE WEEKEND.

Please note there is no power available in the camping area. Also there are limited yards (first in basis) so it is recommended that you bring your own.

On Saturday the Flag parade will be held between Non Pro & Youth.

There will be a walk through with Judge DEE LADD before each division.

If you are not ready Dee will start without you. It is up to you to make sure you are there.

STARTING TIMES:

Saturday Office will open at 7.30am.

Walk through for Green Horse will be at 8.30am.

Sunday Office will open at 7.00am

Walk through for Green Horse will be 7.30am Please note this time is due to the finishing of Daylight Savings.

Dee's Judging Seminar will be FRIDAY 6.30 to 8pm for those who have booked.

FRIDAY NIGHT : DEC WILL BE HOLDING A SAUSAGE SIZZLE EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO A SAUSAGE.

J & M CATERING  WILL BE ON SITE SATURDAY & SUNDAY. ALSO THEY ARE SUPPLYING THE MEAL SATURDAY NIGHT FOR THE ONES WHO HAVE ORDERED DINNER. 

MCDONALDS SADDLERY will be onsite for the weekend . Please have a chat to Trish for your Saddlery requirements.
